Located on a large sloping plot of more than 80,000 square feet, the chalet itself, entirely new and urban style, has a generous window that lets in a profusion of daylight.
On the ground floor, the entrance with cloakroom opens to the spacious dining room, which can accommodate 7 people. A large French door leads you to the three-season veranda, superbly furnished with angled sofas, living room armchairs, and BBQ area (propane gas, which operates year-round). The gas fireplace is available from May to October (propane not included).
The kitchen, very modern, with island, includes dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and filter coffee maker, high baby chair, and enough dishes for 12 people. For lovers of natural springs: our drinking water comes from the well, and it is particularly delicious! On the same level you have a full bathroom with modern design with bathtub and “rain shower”, and a beautiful closed bedroom with queen bed and large window with lake view.
The garden floor also opens wide to the lake side and gives access to the spa. It includes a large living room with a large sofa bed and two closed bedrooms with queen beds. This is where you’ll find a (not wired) HD TV with a BLUERAY player with a choice of DVDs, a Bluetooth speaker that you can plug into your own devices, board games for winter evenings. This floor also has a shower room. A luxurious atmospheric electric fireplace is available.
You have direct access from the chalet to a private dock as well as a pedal boat and 2 kayaks with life jackets. A private hot tub that’s functional all year round is available for your use.
The Lacs-à May estate is a peaceful and enchanting place. The land adjoining the La Belette cottage is crossed by a pretty stream.

Attention: 4×4 or AWD mandatory in winter (November 1 to April 15) Check your SUV, as some views are not necessarily all-wheel drive. Do not go down into the parking lot slope in the winter, you may not be able to go up again.
Upon request from airbnb, the fee for non-compliance should be detailed in the messages.
1. There are big slopes to go up and down. We also recommend good winter tires in good condition. Small compact cars like Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris or other compact city cars will not be able to ride in winter and sometimes even in the middle of summer. You can park at the bottom of the slope and walk up. Bring sleds to carry your luggage. We will not be responsible if you do not take our recommendations into consideration. Provide traction aids, sands, salts and other gadgets for driving in winter. We have no equipment to pull your car if it is stuck in the snow.
2. The main roads to get to the cottage are paved, but the secondary roads are gravel, so if you own a luxury or low vehicle, the rocks can scratch your car.
3. Also take note that the Internet provides in our cottages is via satellite and not unlimited as in the city. This means that it can slow down at any time especially in bad weather. Unfortunately, you will then have to use your cellular network without compensation from us.
4. The presence of small rodents in the field or sometimes even inside the cottages is possible, but be sure that we use exterminators and any kind of means to keep them away. We are the intruders into their natural habitat. Keep the doors of the cottage and your car closed at all times to prevent rodents from entering.
5. You can move the furniture during your stay, but please return it to its original place when you check out.An additional $50 fee will be charged if we have to return the furniture to its original place after you check out.
6. Boat boats will be available depending on the climate. Late spring to early fall.
7. The Spa is available for the 12 months of the year.
*** Please note that you do not leave the spa cover open if you are not using it, the reason is that the water escapes much faster and there is a high risk of the water heater being broken or the full unit.
*** Note that if we consider that the spa water is to be changed due to misuse and non-compliance with regulations, additional fees of up to $250 may apply.
8. No noise outside after 9pm. The deposit will be kept if we receive a complaint from a neighbor and it is justified.
9. Any additional tenants not declared prior to arrival will be charged a fee of $250 per night. Due to covid-19 restrictions, we only rent to one family bubble at a time. If people from your bubble should be added and you notify us before your arrival, we charge only $50 per person per night when there are more than 4 people. We will appreciate your honesty.
10. Camping wood is unfortunately not provided from September 15th to May 15th.
11. Propane gas for BBQ is not supplied between 15 September and 15 May.
12. Satisfaction policy:
Any problems or dissatisfaction during the stay must be reported to the host before your departure so that we can correct the situation or offer compensation if it is justified. No compensation will be offered if you express a complaint after leaving the premises.
